Android 3.0 Beta (Honeycomb) support Tablets are definitely hot! While more and more Android 3.0 powered tablets are being announced following the Barcelona Mobile World Congress, we have updated the ELIPS Studio Android packager to enable you deploying your apps on Android devices running Honeycomb. Your new ELIPS Studio apps will be running on Android 3.0 and for your old apps, simply generate them again with this new release of ELIPS Studio and you are all set.
Symbian^3 support ELIPS Studio was updated to provide the support of Symbian^3 devices including the Nokia E7 and the Nokia N8. Symbian^3 is the last major update of the Symbian OS.In your project settings can be found a new ELIPS target device for Symbian^3 devices. Please read the updated tutorials for more:
Local Database support With the build-in support for local databases, ELIPS Studio further addresses the needs of enterprise-grade application developers. The newflash.data package permits the creation, edition and query of a local SQL-based database in your app. Refer to the API documentation to know more and be sure to download the latest UICatalog sample code.
